Jenny Forbes is the Senior Technical Services Scientist for NABC. In this role she serves the ethanol industry by providing technical support to both ethanol plants and her colleagues. Jenny's responsibilities include analyzing fermentation data and making associated improvements for customers; overseeing product trials and qualification of new products at a plant level; conducting plant optimization audits; collaboration with NABC's corporate technical and laboratory staff; and general trouble shooting duties.

Jenny was raised in rural Nebraska and received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She has a variety of lab experience ranging from genetics to pharmaceutical development to ethanol. Before joining NABC, Jenny was Lab Manager at Husker Ag, LLC. She was hired prior to plant start-up and has served the ethanol industry since early 2003. While at Husker Ag, LLC, she was extensively involved in the improvement of plant efficiency.  Now on the service side of the industry, Jenny is sharing her experiences and expertise with her customers.
