Matt was born and raised in Iowa. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Biotechnology. Prior to joining NABC, Matt worked at Hach Company in Ames for 12 years and has over four years of ethanol experience as Lab Supervisor at Lincolnway Energy in Nevada and Lab Manager at Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Grand Junction. He has been a volunteer Fireman since 2000 and EMT since 2003. In his spare time Matt enjoys playing golf and softball, coaching his kids in various sports, attending ISU Cyclone events, traveling, and spending time with family including wife, two sons and a daughter.
